Sacre-Coeur Minerals Announces Appointment of Mr. John B. Malysa as Director


Vancouver, British Columbia CANADA, November 20, 2013 /FSC/ – Sacre-Coeur Minerals Ltd. (SCM – TSX Venture, S5N – FWB), (the “Company”) today announced that it has appointed Mr. John B. Malysa, B.Sc., MBA, P.Eng., as an interim Director until he stands for election by the shareholders at the Company’s next AGM in 2014. The board has also voted unanimously to appoint Mr. Malysa as a member of its Compensation Committee and its Corporate Governance Committee. In addition, Dr. Edward A. Schiller, P.Geol., has now retired as a Director, having served on the board of directors of the Company since 2007. The Company is grateful to Dr. Schiller for his many contributions over the years, and wishes him well in his retirement.

In connection with Mr. Malysa’s appointment to the board of directors, and in consideration of his service as a member of the Compensation Committee and Corporate Governance Committee, Mr. Malysa has been granted incentive stock options, subject to regulatory approvals, to purchase up to 300,000 common shares of the Company’s Common Stock. The options are exercisable for a term of three years at a price of CAD $0.15 per share. As with all members of the board, he will receive no other compensation for his services as a director.

Mr. Malysa has over 40 years of experience in all aspects of both surface and underground mine exploration, design, feasibility, construction, operations and management. He has successfully served as the President and/or General Manager of several entrepreneurial mining companies. We are delighted to welcome Mr. Malysa onto the board of directors.
