Wall Street Fundamentals Releases New In-Depth Stock Reports on CMRX, ENTA, OPHT and PTLA

The Biotech industry has continued to outpace the broader markets in 2013. The iShares NASDAQ Biotechnology Index ETF (NASDAQ: IBB) and the SPDR S&P Biotech ETF (NYSEARCA: XBI) year-to-date have posted gains of approximately 60.0 percent and 43.0 percent, respectively, compared to the S&P 500 Index’s gain of 26.0 percent. According to data from Credit Suisse, 38 have gone public through mid-November, the most since 2000.

Chimerix Inc. (NASDAQ: CMRX) shares traded in the range of $14.34 to $14.87 Tuesday before settling to close at $14.50, an increase of 1.75 percent. The stock appears to be facing some resistance at the $15.02 and $16.31 levels with some support at $12.97. Shares of Chimerix have fallen approximately 22.0 percent since it IPO.

Enanta Pharmaceuticals Inc. (NASDAQ: ENTA) shares traded in the range of $30.05 to $38.48 Tuesday before settling to close at $38.14, an increase of 28.59 percent. The stock appears to have some support at the $31.50, $27.91 and $25.00 levels. Shares of Enanta Pharmaceuticals have gained approximately 90.0 percent since its IPO.

Ophthotech Corp. (NASDAQ: OPHT) shares traded in the range of $28.33 to $30.19 Tuesday before settling to close at $28.51, a decrease of 4.36 percent.
