T.O. Plastics Expands ABS, HIPS Extruded Plastic Sheet Capacityadmin
Thermoformer to sell roll stock, take custom orders
CLEARWATER, MN, February 20, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ — T.O. Plastics has added new extrusion equipment in its Clearwater plant that will enable the thermoforming company to increase its capacity for ABS (Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) and HIPS (high-impact polystyrene) roll stock for use in its own operations and for sale to other companies.
The company plans to offer utility or prime grade HIPS and ABS plastic sheet in gauges from .015″ to .070″. Roll widths are 20″ to 30.75″ with a 6″ core size.
The extruded plastic sheet is available in black or white as standard colors, or custom colors made to order, in truckload quantities.
“The best products start with the best plastics,” said T.O. Plastics President Mike Vallafskey. “The investment we have made in extrusion equipment will satisfy our internal growth over the next several years and afford us the opportunity to supply ABS and HIPS plastic sheet to other companies.”
T.O. Plastics’ extrusion investment follows the recent hiring of several new members to the company’s executive team.
