Concierge Technologies Announces Janus Cam to Exhibit at the Mid-America Trucking Showadmin
SAN FRANCISCO, CA / ACCESSWIRE / March 10, 2014 / Concierge Technologies (OTCQB: CNCG) today announced that its wholly owned subsidiary Janus Cam will be exhibiting products for the first time at the upcoming Mid-America Trucking Show being held March 27-29, 2014 at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville, KY. Janus Cam, whose offices are located in San Francisco, CA, has gained significant market share with its proprietary in-vehicle video/audio recording, GPS tracking devices within the taxi and limousine industry over the past several years.
Now, armed with the newly developed high definition, dual-lens with night vision, Janus V2HD product Janus Cam is well positioned to introduce its services to the trucking industry. Joining the V2HD product are the single-lens video recorder with GPS recording device and the less expensive single lens camera with optional GPS module. Fleet managers are able to wirelessly upload video event data and corresponding GPS and audio data to company servers making valuable vehicle travel history and driver behavior analysis readily available. There are no recurring fees charged to customers and all full motion video, audio and GPS data belong to and remain in possession of the customer.
Commenting on the decision to exhibit in the Mid America Trucking Show David Neibert, CEO of Concierge, stated “Janus Cam has an astounding success record in the taxi business and our products have provided the industry with a host of benefits that will translate readily to the transportation business. Those benefits include a marked decline in insurance loss claims, much improved driver behavior practices, significant increases in fuel economy and new tools for fleet managers to better understand the daily movements and nuances of their vehicle activities. From the Concierge Technologies side, we have initiated a strategic financing effort in connection with our revenue growth model that targets the transportation sector. The taxi industry, numbering approximately 230,000 medallions or licenses, is dwarfed by the 10’s of millions of transportation vehicles and we would be remiss if we did not aggressively pursue the market opportunity that presents itself.”
Janus Cam has also been expanding its international presence with recent transactions concluded in Canada, South Africa, Australia and Mexico. Management believes that the market in general has accepted the presence of video recording devices in vehicles as much as in other walks of modern life, and that Janus Cam is well positioned to provide quality products and services to this newly emerging area of security and fleet management.
