Metron Announces Exploration Update at South Big Smoky

Vancouver, British Columbia (FSCwire)Metron Capital Corp. (“Metron” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce it has planned to start Phase I of exploration work at its Big Smoky Valley Brine Lithium Project located in Esmeralda County, Nevada, USA (the “South Big Smoky” and “Property”).

The exploration work will include a property wide soil / sediment sampling to find potential brine layers and to understand the distribution pattern of lithium in shallow subsurface sediments across the South Big Smoky. The exploration work is in line with recommended Phase 1 exploration program of technical report submitted on the Property. The program will also include another round of water sampling from an existing monitoring well drilled in 2016 (BSV16-01) to see variations in lithium values over time. The Company is planning to start exploration work by the last week of March 2018 and is in the process of organizing an exploration team to complete fieldwork.

In addition, the Company would like to announce the resignation of Paul Taggar as a director of the Company. The Company would like to thank Mr. Taggar for his contributions toward the development of the Company to date and wish him continued success in his future endeavours.

The technical information contained in this news release has been reviewed and approved by Afzaal Pirzada, P.Geo. (BC License Number: 28657), a qualified person, as defined by NI 43-101 who works as consultant with the Company.
