    Gail Bebee

    Gail Bebee is a personal finance speaker, teacher and writer dedicated to improving the financial literacy of Canadians and helping people to better manage their money. As an industry outsider, she is not limited by financial industry hype and delivers the straight goods on the often-confusing world of personal finance.

    Gail mastered the finer points of money management through years of hands-on practice in the school of hard knocks and extensive personal study. Her background includes a B.Sc. (Honours Biology) and a Master of Environmental Engineering. She is an honours graduate of the Canadian Securities Course.

    After a successful career in regulatory affairs, Gail decided to help others to invest profitably by writing and self-publishing No Hype – The Straight Goods on Investing Your Money ( The book, which drew on her experience as an independent investor is an easy-to-read primer of investing basics written expressly for Canadians from the viewpoint of a savvy financial industry outsider. It’s the book she couldn’t find when she decided to take control of her money.

    Gail writes a personal finance column for Morningstar Canada. She also contributes articles to such publications as GlobeInvestor where she recently completed a popular twelve-part series for those new to direct investing. Gail is a popular media contact and has appeared on such shows as The National and Canada AM.

    Gail teaches Investment Planning for the Toronto District School Board Continuing Education program. She speaks frequently at libraries, corporate, association and club meetings, trade shows and conferences. In her talks, she shares valuable tips that listeners can readily use to improve their personal bottom lines. Gail empowers her audience to take control of their money and achieve financial success.
