Arthur Salzer

Canadian business executive Arthur Salzer is the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer of Northland Wealth Management, an investment management services firm. With two and a half decades of investment experience, Arthur is responsible for the management and oversight of Northland Wealth Management’s operations and investments. He is also personally involved in managing many of the firm's largest clients.

Arthur Salzer’s investment career began three decades ago after he graduated from McMaster University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics. Following this, Arthur earned professional certifications as a Certified Investment Manager and Chartered Financial Analyst.

Arthur is an active member of organizations that include the CFA Society, the Family Firm Institute (FFI), and the Canadian Association of Family Enterprise (CAFE). He has also provided insights and analysis for media sources like Bloomberg, Reuters, NBC, Financial Post, The Globe & Mail, The Washington Times, Wealth Professional Magazine, Advisor.ca, CTV and CBC. In addition, he has been a speaker at investment and wealth management conferences in Canada and across North America, as well as appearing as a mentor on the TV show Python’s Pit where entrepreneurs seek business funding and inspiration for their startups and projects.

Arthur is proud of the recognition Northland Wealth Management has received over the years. The firm was awarded The Blackrock Award for Portfolio/ Discretionary Manager of the Year and, most recently, was a finalist in four award categories at the 2017 Family Wealth Report Awards. Arthur himself has been featured in Wealth Professional Magazine as the Top Ranked Advisor in Canada. The publication also included him on their list of top Canadian executives in the wealth management industry over the next decade in its its 2015 Hot List.
