Nick Papapanos

Montreal’s Nick Papapanos is a Senior Investment Advisor at Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management with twenty-six years of experience in the wealth management industry. As a result of this experience in the financial industry, Nick is highly qualified to meet the financial and investment needs of his clients.

A graduate of Concordia University, Nick Papapanos holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, double majoring in marketing and finance. Following his graduation, Nick went on to establish a high-quality construction lumber import company.

Using the skills and knowledge he acquired through his academic studies and business experience, Nick then began working in the financial services sector, spending more than a decade at one of Canada’s leading financial institutions. At the firm, Nick made a name for himself as a successful Investment Advisor and was eventually promoted to Vice President. He has gone on to serve as Senior Vice President at two other respected Canadian financial firms.

In addition to his work in finance, Nick Papapanos is a member of the Montreal Chamber of Commerce, an organization dedicated to helping Montreal businesses grow. He is also active in Montreal’s Greek community, a community that enjoys one of the largest Hellenic diasporas outside of Greece.

Nick serves as the Secretary of Marketing for the Hellenic Community of Montreal (HCGM), a non-profit organization that operates a trilingual, full-time private school with five campuses around Montreal. In addition to the five campus school, HCGM offers a variety of social programs and events, as well as regular Hellenic church services.

As part of his efforts to ensure that Montreal’s Greek children are exposed to the Greek language and culture, Nick Papapanos and his daughter participated in the production of two children’s books and their accompanying CDs. Nick is deeply passionate about helping and educating children and regularly participates in fundraising efforts. He is also a proud donor of the Magic Mission, an organization that supports Greek orphanages during these turbulent economic times in Greece. Additionally, Nick has made a large donation toward the establishment of a permanent chair for Hellenic studies at Quebec’s McGill University.

In his spare time, Nick enjoys spending time with friends, family and traveling.
