Richard Crenian is the Founder and President of ReDev Properties Ltd. Since founding in 2001, Richard and ReDev Properties Ltd have grown the asset management company using a long-term approach to manage over 25 commercial properties, primarily located in Western Canada, on behalf of over 2,500 investors worldwide.
Prior to forming ReDev Properties Ltd, Richard’s journey into this leading role started at the ripe age of 12, where he first dipped his feet into sales. He started selling diaries to purchase his very first suit. When he started living on his own at 16, he began selling vacuum cleaners to fund himself through high school.
At 19, Richard became the youngest sales manager in Canada selling national office equipment. Here, he excelled and embraced personal achievements such as being the top three sales representatives in Canada and the top branch of the year honours, leading him to become the highest paid sales in Canada at the time.
Catching the entrepreneurial bug at 21, he established a real estate development company based out of Saskatchewan. Specializing in the construction of multi-family residential rental buildings, the company went to build over 11,000 apartments and condos.
Starting with $900 in his pocket when he began, his entrepreneurial activities have generated over $1.5 billion dollars in revenue to date.
On his down time, he enjoys lending his hand out to others. While managing his company in Saskatchewan, he served as a Governor for Junior Achievement, Saskatchewan and was on the advisory board at the University of Saskatchewan, College of Commerce.
Additionally, he is a founding member and mentor of the Young Entrepreneurs Organization in Saskatchewan. Currently, he is a member of the World President Organization, having graduated from the Young President Organization in 2009.
He generously supports the Daily Food Bank, Sunny Brook Hospital Toronto, Covenant House, the Baycrest Alzheimer’s Foundation and The Next 36.
