Kristen Darch is a freelance writer, editor and visual artist. Her words have appeared in housing co-op newsletters, literary magazines and various media including The Globe & Mail, Briarpatch, THIS magazine, Vancouver Observer, EVENT, The Ubyssey, Megaphone magazine, and Pearson Canada’s Anthology Strategies for Successful Writing. She has worked in emergency shelters, mental health housing, and co-operative housing. She sometimes does portrait commissions.
