How to earn points with the CIBC Aventura® Gold Visa* Card

With the CIBC Aventura® Gold Visa* Card, you earn:

  • 2 points for every $1 spent on eligible travel purchased through the CIBC Rewards Centre
  • 1.5 points for every $1 spent at eligible gas stations, EV charging, grocery stores and drug stores
  • 1 point for every $1 spent on all other eligible purchases

You can maximize your rewards by using your CIBC Aventura® Gold Visa* Card for most purchases, especially within the categories (eligible grocery stores, drugstores, and gas stations) where you can earn a higher amount of points. You can use your points to pay down your balance or pay your monthly balance on time and use the points towards special rewards.

How to redeem points with the CIBC Aventura® Gold Visa* Card

You can redeem your points through the CIBC Rewards Centre on travel, gift cards, merchandise, or other experiences. The higher the amount of Aventura points you have, the more valuable rewards you can cash them in for.
